These days there is nothing wrong with letting your girl power show. Even the most renowned celebrities are leading their fans toward gender equality. Some celebrities have gone above and beyond to represent the females this year. These are some of the female celebrities I look up to most right now!
Taylor Swift
From her music to her personality, Taylor Swift is an overall strong woman. She knows exactly what she wants and has become one of the most successful musicians ever without losing her morals. She is extremely kind and close to her fans, and has so many good friends like Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez. Her circle of friends holds so much girl power and I can’t wait to see what they can do. And, her latest music video featuring a ton of her strong female friends only increases her level of girl power.
Chloë Grace Moretz
Chloe has always been a strong, up-and-coming actress in Hollywood. I have loved her since I first saw her in “Big Mamma’s House 2”. Not only does she advocate for feminism in her everyday life, but also in her films. Her roles in “Bolt” and “If I Stay” give her serious girl power credit.
Jennifer Lawrence
JLaw is one of my all-time favorite actresses and she’s probably the biggest advocate for gender equality. She has played numerous groundbreaking movie roles like Katniss in “The Hunger Games” and Mystique in “X-Men.” And don’t forget about all the fabulous times Jen has demolished sexism in the media like when she squashed body image criticism during her Yahoo interview.
