Summer Room Decor

I love changing my room décor with the seasons, especially summer. I love to add bright colors and gorgeous pastels. I think it totally brightens up the room and my mood! Here are some of my favorite Pinterest finds!

Doorknob Wall Hanger

This one is super fun and easy. Just find a piece of wood and old doorknobs. Super glue the doorknobs to the piece of wood and voila – you have a brand new, unique place to hang your things!

This one can add a lot to your room, especially if your colors are bright enough. Just find some box letters (you can get them at most craft stores), pieces of foam and some flowers. Cut the foam so it fits into the boxes and – now comes the fun part – start adding the flowers. Push the stems into the foam and you have a totally uplifting wall accessory.

Flower Lights

These are great to show off at sleepovers when it gets dark. Just grab some old Christmas lights and cupcake papers of all different sizes and colors. Fold the papers four times and cut the ends to make a pretty flower shape. Then, cut a hole in the middle of each paper. Layer them on each light bulb and watch a garden come alive in your room!
