I love listening to American Top 40, but since I LOVE traveling the world and learning about other cultures, I also love discovering artists from other countries! Thanks to NRJ Radio here in France — I’m learning tons of French artists like Jenifer, Diam’s, Mademoiselle K, and Superbus. I’m even learning to love French rap, like MC Lars! British artists Estelle, Duffy, and Amy MacDonald and Australians The Veronicas are super popular here too! And of course so is Britney!

Favorite TV Shows:

I barely have time to keep up with TV shows, besides every American show is a season or two behind here! But I do love  Nouvelle Star (their version of American Idol) and Star Academy! There’s some crazy rivalry between both shows, but I love singing, so I watch both!

 

Favorite Movies:

I like watching all different kinds of movies… of course I love chick flicks like Confessions of a Shopaholic when I’m with my girls, but I’m also totally into documentaries too!

 

Favorite Books:

Does National Geographic count? I also love classics like Anne of Green Gables and The Chronicles of Narnia.

About Me: Oh, where should I start? Let’s see…some of my friends think I’m a little overcommitted, but I don’t really think so. I think it’s really important to be on top of all my schoolwork, but I also know I need to hang out with my friends. My BFF Zee is so fabulous and makes sure I’m not *too* much of a workaholic! I would love to travel the world with her…how awesome would it be if we toured together? She can be the international rock star and I can have my dream job: international photojournalist! Right now I am living in Paris with my parents who are both uberfamous, award-winning journalists. I’m an only child, so lucky me, I get to travel everywhere with them. I do have a tutor that I use when I’m out of school for long periods of time (I’m going to Africa for six weeks with Mom and Dad soon! ), which kinda sucks, but is fun in a weird way, too. While I love all of the travel, it gets a little lonely at times. Thank goodness for my sidekick and IM! Zee keeps me up to date with all of the happenings in Brookdale. I can’t wait for her to come visit me in Paris! It’s tres chic!
